PICK YOUR FAVORITE: A RUNDOWN OF WHO TO WATCH THIS WEEKEND IN ALLENTOWN!

When the green flag drops over a snarling pack of 24 TQ Midgets to start their feature races inside PPL Center in Allentown, Pa., this Friday and Saturday night, two drivers have to be considered the statistical favorites.

Ted Christopher  owns  8 Indoor TQ Midget feature wins, more than any other driver.

Erick Rudolph owns 7 Indoor TQ Midget feature wins, including the only previous PPL Center TQ race on January 2, 2016 and most recently run race, inside Sun National Bank Center in Trenton, N.J., just three weeks ago.

Both have the stats. But who’s the real favorite this weekend inside Allentown, Pa.’s PPL Center?

How about Ryan Flores? The New Jersey native who works for the NASCAR Wood Brothers No. 21 team in North Carolina finished second to Rudolph in  Trenton.  Far from pleased, Flores, who had finished second four times previously, vowed to make his car “better” for the Allentown races.

How about Jimmy Blewett?  Winner of well over 125  races outdoors, Jimmy has led Indoor races often and has lots of second and third place finishes. Like Flores, he left the Trenton race challenged to “get the car to handle.”

How about Zane Zeiner?  Fourth in Trenton, Zeiner would make a very popular winner as a hometowner.  Zane lives in Bath. Pa, less than ten miles from the PPL Center arena floor. “We’re competitive,” the normally soft-spoken Zeiner has said. “Now it’s time to win.”

It all gets going Friday, December 30 with TQ Midgets accompanied by Slingshots. TQs run a full program on Saturday, December 31 joined by Champ Karts.

Seats remain available for both nights though the good ones are going fast!

On Friday, the TQ racing will be supported by a card of Slingshot action; on Saturday, Champ Karts are the undercard.

Allentown tickets are available online at www.PPLCenter.com and or at the PPL Center box office located at 701 Hamilton Street, Allentown, PA 18101.
